Bobby Petricini

Outreach Coordinator

Bobby Petricini joined ACM in 2021 with over a decade of experience in museum education. Working as the Community Engagement Coordinator, he will be managing ACM’s relationship with the city of Akron as well as several other donors and supporters of the museum. As a Northeast Ohio native, he attended Kent State University to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in History. While in undergrad, he worked as a costumed interpreter at Hale Farm and Village as well as traveling the United States working as a trivia host for the National History Bee. After graduating, Bobby moved to Virginia to attend George Mason University where he began working on his master’s degree in History. While at George Mason, he worked as a teaching assistant for the history department, as a costumed interpreter for Historic Alexandria, and as  
data technician for the Smithsonian Institute.. After obtaining his MA in History from George Mason University, Bobby moved to Columbus, Ohio where he worked as a STEM Outreach Educator at the Center of Science and Industry until 2020. He joins the ACM team eager to build connections with the community and learn all he can from its residents.
