Ben launched his financial advisory practice in 2005 before co-founding Auxin Group Wealth Management in 2015. Prior to starting his own practice, Ben worked for Morningstar, Inc., a leading provider of independent financial research and analysis, as well as Merrill Lynch and UBS.  Ben earned an economics degree from the University of Chicago where he played football. He is a 2009 recipient of the Greater Akron Chamber’s “30 for the Future” award, which honors young professionals whose stellar contributions impact their industries and the Greater Akron Region.  He is a lifetime trustee of the Akron Children’s Museum, board member for Akron Cooperative Farms, and founder of the Outdoor Classroom in Akron and Morningstar Market Prep in Chicago.  Ben lives in Bath with his wife Tessa, sons Grayson and Wesley and their dog Hershey.  He enjoys playing basketball, football and chess.
