Join us for an exciting FREE workshop series for middle school girls! Guided by experienced mentors and with support from our friends at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, participants will delve into team-based design challenges with the ultimate goal of developing a hands-on exhibit prototype.
InventHERs - Inspiring Tomorrow's Engineers is made possible by The Akron Women’s Endowment Fund, and through partnership between Akron Children's Museum and The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. This workshop is part of a broader initiative that aims to ignite a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among young girls.
All workshops take place at Akron Children's Museum. This series takes place over four Saturdays, starting in February from 10 am - 1 pm. To maximize the impact and ensure a cohesive experience, we encourage participants to register for the InventHERS Workshop only if they can commit to attending all four weeks, as each session builds upon the concepts learned the previous week.
