Travis' passion for Akron Children's Museum started by visiting with his son, Henry, and wife, Chelsea. Seeing the various exhibits spark joy and imagination in his young son established Travis' belief in the museum's mission and vision. 

Travis was hired at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in 2016 where he serves as the Visitor Experience Director. There he is responsible for ensuring an excellent visitor experience through managing the guest services staff, leading cafe & retail operations, managing group sales, and event operations. Travis is also a member of Torchbearers class of 2025, where he loves learning about and serving the Akron community. 

Travis moved from Pittsburgh, PA in 2016. A lifelong Pittsburgher until relocating to Akron, Travis spent 5 years working for the Pittsburgh Steelers as the Guest Services and Tours Manager. He graduated from Robert Morris University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
